Dear Professional,

We are currently forming social skills groups for children, adolescents and young adults with moderate problems with socialization and would like to inquire if you have clients who might benefit from such a program.

I am looking for students who have moderate issues with social skills such as reciprocal conversation, understanding nonverbal communication, and making and/or maintaining friendships. At the moment we are soliciting referrals of children with social problems as a result of ADHD, Social Anxiety/GAD or another mental health problem, as well as students with Autism Spectrum Disorders who are considered High Functioning. Each student or young adult will be given an intake interview to determine the best group for them (an ASD group or a more Heterogeneous group).

We currently have several of groups forming:
High Schoolers (15 years to 18 years old) on Fridays from 4 pm to 5:30 pm
Young Adults (mostly College students, 18+) which would be Fridays from Noon to 1:30 pm
Older Elementary students (3rd, 4th, and 5th grades) on Wednesdays from 4 pm to 5:30 pm

Please see the attached flyer for more details and information on price. We would appreciate your passing this along to anyone you think might be interested. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at the office: 410-740-3240.

Thank you,
Samantha Marks
